What is fibroblasting?
Fibroblasting (also known as "soft surgery" or "Plasma Skin Tightening") harnesses your body's ability to heal itself by creating a micro-cauterization in the skin using a voltaic arc. This shrinks the targeted skin and promotes new cell growth and forces the body to create new collagen.
What can fibroblasting do?
Fibroblasting can tighten loose skin, remove moles and skin tags, remove scars and stretch marks, tighten wrinkles and remove tattoos. This includes (but is not limited to) non-surgical eye lift, skin tag removal, tummy tightening, stretch mark removal, non-surgical neck lift, and age spot removal.
Are there any risks involved?
As with any procedure dealing with the skin, there are risks involved with a fibroblasting treatment. There is always the risk of infection, although I take every precaution it is important to follow proper home care after the treatment. Improper home care can also give way to hyper-pigmentation.
Is there any downtime?
The downtime involved in your treatment greatly depends on the area being treated, your lifestyle, as well as your own self-confidence. In most cases, you can resume day-to-day activities (with some exceptions) right after your treatment. Discuss your lifestyle and treatment with your technician to determine if downtime is necessary.
Who can receive a fibroblasting treatment?
If you are 18 years of age or older and you are in generally good health with a light to medium skin tone, you make an excellent candidate for a fibroblast skin treatment. Your technician will need confirm your medical history with a consultation.
